Thank you for your interest in this blog! Captain Kidnap celebrates the “damsel in distress” as portrayed in different branches of mainstream culture – through vidcaps from movies and TV shows, scans of book/magazine covers, film programmes, and other memorabilia. For further information, please read the introductory post.

A note about clips: The clips contain theme relevant material – i.e. scenes with bondage and/or hosiery. These have been edited down, often heavily, to include only content that is relevant. In other words, the blog is not a catalogue of movie scenes. Most of the clips are in AVI format, some in FLV. For file storing, I am currently using Megaupload. The upside to this is that it’s a free service and that there are no download/upload limits. The downside is that unused files eventually get deleted. For this reason, you may come across inactive links. If you want me to reupload one or more particular clips, please email me.
Should I go and kidnap someone now?: No, of course not. Silly person. Not unless they want to, anyway. This blog is aimed at people with a brain who know how to differentiate between fantasy and reality. Which, fortunately, includes most people.
Unwilling DIDs: The majority of my clips come from either DVD’s that I buy or from YouTube. It may be that you starred in a homemovie that someone else then posted on the web. If you happen to be one of the damsels on my site and would prefer not to be portrayed in a “damsel in distress” context, please let me know by email. I will delete the post without further ado.
Support the producers/distributors: In many cases, watching a whole movie will add flavour to those precious 10-15 seconds in which your favourite heroine gets tied up. If you see anything you like on the blog, consider purchasing the DVD if one exists. A strong demand = more DIDs = happiness all around.
